Essentially, two paintings
are paired for contrast.

For example, a classic painting of a little red school house with boys playing barefoot out in front is very confusing. Especially if a bunch of French girls are standing at the seashore in fancy shoes and dresses.

What is a little red school house and where is the cafeteria? Why don't they have to wear shoes? How the little girls don't have bathing suits?
